ginta

A Lovable alternative for small business websites

If you need a website for a business (a salon, a café, a plumber, a studio), Ginta is a simpler and cheaper Lovable alternative: it publishes a finished website with booking, a menu, quote requests and a contact form built in, on your own domain even on the free plan, and you change it by asking. If you're building an app (user accounts, a database, custom features), Lovable is the better tool, and Ginta isn't trying to be one.

We make Ginta. Every fact about Lovable below comes from Lovable's own pricing page and documentation, checked on 12 October 2026 (links at the end).

Why people look for a Lovable alternative for a simple website

Lovable is an AI app builder: it writes a real web application (TanStack Start or React, with a Supabase-based backend) and lets you keep editing it with credits. That's powerful, and it's more than a small business website needs. The reasons we hear:

When Lovable is still the right choice

In those cases Lovable (or Bolt, or v0) fits, and a website builder like Ginta would get in your way.

Moving a business website from Lovable to Ginta

  1. On ginta.app, describe your business in one sentence, or paste the main texts from your current site. Ginta builds a new site in about a minute; it won't copy your Lovable design, but you can ask for the look you want, or send a screenshot as inspiration.
  2. Add your photos and logo, and ask for the parts you need: "add online booking", "add our menu".
  3. Connect your domain in Settings → Your domain: Ginta shows the exact DNS steps for wherever your domain is managed. Keep the Lovable site until the new one is live.

Developers who prefer to keep their Lovable-made code can also host a static build on Ginta: Claude Code uploads a whole dist/ folder through Ginta's MCP server, with redirects and clean URLs (see files and routing). Server-side code doesn't run on Ginta.

Questions

Is Ginta free?

Yes: one website, one custom domain and 50 AI credits a month, with a small "Made with Ginta" line. Paid plans start at €5 a month (Hosting, for building with your own AI assistant) and €9 a month (Light, with 600 credits and no footer line). All plans.

Can Ginta build web apps like Lovable?

No. Ginta builds websites with ready-made parts (booking, shop, events, menu, gallery, blog, quote requests, forms). Sites can call outside APIs through secure connections, but there are no user accounts or custom server code.

Can I edit the HTML myself?

Your assistant can read and change every file through Ginta's MCP server, and you can click any text or photo in the builder to change it. There's no code editor inside Ginta's website.

Is it faster?

A new Ginta website is usually online about a minute after you answer the questions, and changes take seconds. Ginta-made pages typically score 90–100 on Google's PageSpeed test on phones.
