Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [Business name], [Address], company/registration number [Company/registration number] ("Ginta", "we"). By creating an account, building a website or using the Ginta connector for Claude or ChatGPT you accept them, together with our Acceptable Use Policy and our Privacy Policy. Questions: [Email].
1. What Ginta does
Ginta lets you describe a business and get a website, built by AI and published on the internet, and keep changing it in plain words, in Ginta's builder or through your own AI assistant. We host the websites on ginta.page addresses and on domains you connect.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old (or have a parent's or guardian's permission).
- Give a real email address you can read, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person per account. Agencies may build websites for their clients in their own account.
- A website made without an account stays online for 24 hours; sign up to keep it.
3. Your websites and content
- You own your content: the text, images and details you put into your websites. You give us the permission we need to host, store, copy, display and adapt it (for example to resize images) so the service works. This permission ends when you delete the content, apart from backups that are removed in the normal course.
- You are responsible for your websites: their content, that you have the rights to images and text you add, that the details (prices, opening hours, contact information) are correct, and that your website follows the laws that apply to your business, including information you must show to your customers (for example an imprint or a privacy policy; Ginta can add both pages for you).
- AI makes mistakes. Check what the AI writes before you rely on it. Ginta's AI is told never to invent phone numbers, prices or reviews, but you must check your website.
- Stock photos come from Pexels under the Pexels license.
- Websites must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove or block content or websites that break it or the law, as described there and in our illegal content page, and we will tell you why.
4. Plans, credits and payments
- Plans (Free, Hosting, Light, Pro, Agency) differ in how many websites, domains and AI credits they include; the current details are on our pricing page.
- Credits pay for the AI work in Ginta's builder. Monthly credits renew each month and don't carry over; credits you buy never expire. Building with your own AI assistant through the connector uses no credits.
- Fair use: each plan includes a number of page views a month. Above it your websites stay online; we'll contact you and may ask you to move to a bigger plan if the traffic keeps up.
- Payments are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, under Paddle's own terms. Plans renew automatically every month or year until you cancel; you can cancel any time in your account and keep your plan until the end of the paid period.
- Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/UK): you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because credits and plans are digital services that start right away, you agree when you buy that the service starts immediately; credits already used and the part of the period already used can't be refunded. Ask Paddle or us for a refund of the rest.
- We may change prices for the future; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
5. Your own domain
Connecting a domain you own is free on every plan, within its domain limit. You remain responsible for the domain, its registration and its DNS records.
6. Availability
We work hard to keep Ginta and your websites online and fast, but we can't promise that the service will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features. If we ever close a feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance and refund what you paid for the time you couldn't use.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your websites and your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the law, or that has been unused for more than 2 years (after warning you by email). Where possible we warn you first and explain why.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example for intent, gross negligence or injury to life or health). Otherwise our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or €50 on the free plan), and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data you could have exported. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay unaffected.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter we'll tell you by email or in Ginta at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where [Business name] is registered. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own country's courts. Before going to court, please write to [Email]; most problems are solved quickly.
