What is Ginta Commerce?

Ginta Commerce is the online shop that comes with every Ginta website. You describe your business and what you sell, and Ginta builds the whole website: your pages, your story and contact details, and a shop with a page for every product, a cart and card payment. Buyers pay on Stripe's checkout and the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. Ginta takes 0 % of your sales on every plan; Stripe charges its usual card fee.

It's made for small businesses that sell real things: bakeries, makers, florists, roasters, studios and small brands with a handful to a few hundred products. The Free plan has the whole shop, every feature on this page, for up to 25 products per website at a name.ginta.page address. Paid plans add your own domain and hold up to 500 products per website.

You can build it in Ginta's chat, or from Claude or ChatGPT through Ginta's MCP server. After that you run the shop yourself in Ginta (products, stock, orders, refunds), without the AI and without credits.

Fictional businesses, real Ginta shops: open them, add to the cart, look at a product page on your phone.

How it works

  1. Describe what you sell. "Soy candles in three scents and two sizes, €22 and €32, shipping in the EU €7.90 and free from €60, pickup at the studio." Ginta asks what's missing, then builds the website and the shop in about a minute.
  2. Connect Stripe. In Ginta, Account → Payments. Until then each product has an Ask about this button, so people can still reach you. Where Stripe doesn't work, buyers can send the order to you on WhatsApp instead.
  3. Sell, and run it from one place. Orders, messages and bookings arrive in one inbox. Mark an order as shipped with its tracking number, refund it, print it, or look at what sold this month.
Ginta's Sales screen for a shop: revenue €78.50, 3 paid orders, average order €26.17, revenue per day as a bar chart, and the top products
Shop → Sales: the last 7, 30 or 90 days next to the period before (a test shop with three test orders).

What it can't do yet

We'd rather you know before you start. Ginta Commerce sells physical products and pickup. It doesn't do digital downloads, subscriptions or repeat deliveries, several currencies in one shop, PayPal, Klarna or Afterpay, a till for selling in person, shipping labels or live carrier rates, or customer logins. It also brings no buyers by itself: unlike Etsy or Amazon, there's no marketplace, so people find you through Google, your social accounts and your own customers. If one of these is the heart of your business, Shopify, Etsy or Square Online will fit better.

Questions

Is Ginta Commerce free?

Yes. The Free plan has the whole shop with card payments for up to 25 products per website, at a name.ginta.page address with a small "Made with Ginta" badge. Your own domain starts at €5 a month (Hosting, you build with your own AI) or €19 (Light, with Ginta's AI).

Does Ginta take a commission on sales?

No. Ginta's fee is 0 % on every plan, Free included. Buyers pay through your own Stripe account and Stripe charges its card fee. There's no extra transaction fee for using Stripe.

Which payment methods can buyers use?

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay on Stripe's checkout. Without Stripe, buyers can send their order to you on WhatsApp, or ask about a product by message. PayPal isn't available.

Can I move my products from Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce?

Yes. Export your products as a CSV file there and import it in Ginta: it recognises Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce exports, shows a preview, and updates products with the same name. See importing products.

Do I need to know how to build a website?

No. Ginta writes the pages and sets up the shop from your description, and you change anything by asking in the chat or in the shop's settings. If you'd rather build with Claude or ChatGPT, they can do it through Ginta's MCP server.

Is it right for a big shop?

Probably not. Ginta holds up to 500 products per website and has no app store, no point of sale and no multi-currency. It's built for small shops that want a good website and a shop in one place.
