A Framer alternative for businesses that don't want to design
If you run a small business and want a good website without designing it, Ginta is a simpler Framer alternative: you describe the business, Ginta's AI builds the site with booking, a menu or quote requests built in, and you change it by asking. If you're a designer, or you want control over every layout, animation and breakpoint, Framer is the better tool, and Ginta doesn't try to compete with it.
We make Ginta. Every fact about Framer below comes from Framer's own pricing page, blog and help centre, checked on 19 October 2026 (links at the end).
Why small businesses look for a Framer alternative
Framer makes beautiful websites, and its AI agent builds a first version from a prompt. But it's made for people who design:
- It's a canvas. Components, animations and breakpoints are its strength, and a lot to learn if you just want your opening hours online.
- The AI expects a design brief. Framer's guide tells you to describe the site's purpose, sections and style, and advises against vague prompts like "build me a landing page". Then you refine in chat or by selecting layers.
- The free plan is "ideal for non-commercial use". It publishes on a Framer subdomain with a "Made in Framer" badge; a custom domain needs a paid plan.
- Business features aren't built in. Framer has native forms and a CMS, but there's no official Framer store (only third-party plugins).

What Ginta does instead of a canvas
You describe, it designs. Write what you'd tell a new customer: "A hair salon in Leeds, cuts and colour, open Tuesday to Saturday, people should be able to book." Ginta designs the site for that business (layout, colours, fonts, fitting free photos, texts in your language) and lists anything it had to guess, so nothing made up stays on your page.
Business parts, ready-made. Ginta comes with the parts small businesses ask for most, and you manage them in Ginta's own screens with no AI and no credits:
- a menu with prices, sizes, dietary tags and "sold out for now";
- quote requests with your own questions for each service;
- a gallery, a blog and announcements like "Closed on Monday" that disappear on their own;
- on paid plans, online booking (confirmation emails, a calendar file, visitors can change or cancel), a shop with a cart and orders, and events and classes with sign-ups and waiting lists.
Changes without opening anything. Ask in Ginta's chat, click a text on the page and type, or ask your own Claude or ChatGPT. With our fast AI a change is about 0.2 credits; a new one-page website with our best AI is about 20 (more pages use more).
Checked for you. After every build or change, Ginta opens each page at phone and desktop sizes, tries the links and forms, and fixes what doesn't work.
When Framer is the better choice
- You design for a living, or you have a clear visual idea and want to build it exactly. Framer's canvas, components, animations and breakpoints go far beyond what Ginta offers; Ginta has no drag-and-drop editor.
- You need a strong CMS or many languages. Framer has a CMS on every plan and localisation as an add-on ($20 per locale).
- You want templates and plugins. Framer has a large template and plugin marketplace. Ginta has neither.
- You're a developer working in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and want to edit a designed Framer project from there. Framer's external agents can edit the canvas, components and CMS and publish.
- You want the backing of a large product. Ginta is young and run by one person in Lithuania.
Moving from Framer to Ginta
Paste the texts from your Framer site on ginta.app and Ginta builds a new website in about a minute. It won't copy your Framer design, but you can describe the look or send a screenshot. Add your photos and parts, then connect your domain in Settings. If you're a hair salon, photographer or restaurant, those pages show a real example.

Questions
Is there a free Framer alternative for a business website?
Ginta's Free plan publishes up to 20 websites at their Ginta address, with a contact form, menu, gallery, blog and quote requests, and a small "Made with Ginta" badge. Your own domain and booking need a paid plan, from €5 a month. Building needs a free account.
Is Ginta cheaper than Framer?
It depends on the plan. Framer Basic is $10 a month shown with yearly billing, with sales tax added at checkout. Ginta's cheapest plans with your own domain are Hosting at €5 a month (for building with your own AI) and Light at €12 (with Ginta's AI), tax included. What differs more is what's included: booking, a menu and quote requests are built into Ginta.
Can I make a Ginta site look as polished as a Framer site?
You steer Ginta's design with words, not by moving layers. If it has to match a brand guide exactly, use Framer.
Can I build with Claude or ChatGPT on Ginta?
Yes. Connect Ginta's MCP server and your assistant designs, publishes and changes the site in your Ginta account. See website builder MCP, build a website with ChatGPT or, if you're comparing AI builders, our Lovable alternative page.
