Ginta vs GoDaddy
Ginta vs GoDaddy Website Builder: which is better for a small business?
GoDaddy's Website Builder is now Airo AI Builder: you describe your idea, Airo builds the site (or a web app), and you refine it in chat or edit it yourself, with your domain at GoDaddy too. Ginta also builds from a description, but it's made only for small-business websites: booking, a menu, quote requests, events and a shop are ready-made parts, on the free plan too, and the site is live at a Ginta address in about a minute.
The biggest difference for a small business is where booking and payments start: on GoDaddy, its plan cards list online payments, deposits and appointment bookings on Professional; on Ginta they're on every plan.

When to pick GoDaddy
- You want your domain, email and website in one place. GoDaddy is a big registrar; paid Airo plans include a free domain. Ginta sells domains (€29 a year) but not email.
- You want a web app, not only a website. Airo builds apps, dashboards and databases from prompts, and you can download the code.
- Phone support. GoDaddy lists 24/7 support on paid plans.
- Sales tax and shipping rates for an online store are on its Professional plan card.
When to pick Ginta
- Booking and payments without a top plan. Ginta's booking (with deposits), shop and events are on every plan, Free included (up to 25 products, 30 bookings a month and 5 upcoming events per website), with payments through your own Stripe account and no Ginta fee.
- Publish for free. Ginta's free plan keeps 20 websites online at
name.ginta.page; on GoDaddy, publishing is listed from Starter. - No branding on paid plans today. GoDaddy lists "Remove Airo branding" as coming soon; on Ginta, every paid plan lets you switch the badge off.
- You build with Claude or ChatGPT. Your assistant can build, publish and change the site through Ginta's MCP server.
About AI credits
Both use credits for AI work. GoDaddy gives 50 a month free and 150 on Starter, and its FAQ says credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Ginta gives 25 when you confirm your email, then 5 a day (up to 20 a month); Light has 150 a month, and half of what's unused rolls over for a month. Editing text and photos yourself costs no credits on either.
Moving from GoDaddy to Ginta
You can keep your domain registered at GoDaddy: build the site on Ginta, then point the domain at it with the DNS steps Ginta shows for GoDaddy. Paste your texts into Ginta's chat (or send screenshots), ask for the parts you need, add photos. Keep the old site live until the new one is ready.
