Ginta vs Zarla
Ginta vs Zarla: which AI website builder is better for a small business?
Zarla and Ginta are the two AI website builders made for small businesses that also let Claude or ChatGPT build the site through an MCP server. The big differences are the free plan and the price: Zarla's free plan builds but can't publish, and its lowest price needs 36 months paid up front. Ginta's free plan puts the website online, with booking and card payments included, and paid plans are monthly.
If you'll commit for three years and want a dashboard with invoices next to the website, Zarla is worth a look. If you want the website live before you pay anything, monthly prices, or your AI assistant to manage bookings and orders too, look at Ginta.

When to pick Zarla
- You'll prepay for three years. US$10.99 a month on the 36-month plan (US$395.64 up front), with your domain free for the first year, is a low monthly figure if you're sure you'll stay.
- You want gift cards and invoices. Zarla's plans list selling gift cards, and its dashboard holds invoices.
- You want every change from your AI to wait in a draft. Zarla's MCP server saves edits to a private draft, and publishing "requires an explicit request". On Ginta every change goes live at once and can be undone.
- You use Gemini CLI. Zarla names it among its supported clients; we haven't tested Ginta with it.
When to pick Ginta
- You want it live for free first. Ginta's free plan publishes 20 websites at
name.ginta.page, with a small badge. Zarla's free plan is for building only. - Booking and payments without upgrading. On Ginta's free plan, booking, a shop and paid event places work, with card payments into your own Stripe account and no Ginta fee (Free: up to 25 products, 30 bookings a month and 5 upcoming events per website). Zarla's store charges a 2% fee on Premium (1% on Business), on top of card processing.
- Monthly prices. Your own domain from €5 a month (Hosting, you build with your own AI) or €19 (Light, with Ginta's AI and 150 credits a month). Cancel any month.
- Your assistant can run the business side. Through Ginta's MCP server, Claude or ChatGPT can read your messages, orders and bookings, change products and prices, and take a booking for a customer who phoned. Zarla's server can't touch products, orders, leads, bookings or invoices.
- Helpers for one website. A helper signs in at yoursite.com/admin to read messages and update the menu, products or bookings, without a Ginta account.
The MCP servers side by side
Both servers sign you in with OAuth, without API keys, and work with Claude and ChatGPT (developer mode). Ginta's is also in Claude's connector directory; Zarla says its directory listings are "in progress".
