Which AI website builders take bookings and payments on the free plan?
Of the AI website builders we checked, only Ginta lets a free website take bookings and card payments. Wix, GoDaddy and B12 publish a free website but put scheduling or payments on a paid plan; Durable's and Zarla's free plans don't publish a public website at all. If you sell appointments, classes or products, the real starting price is the cheapest plan that does booking or payments, not the free plan. The details, each from the builder's own pages:
All competitor facts were checked on their own websites on 5 November 2026, except GoDaddy (29 October 2026). Prices change and depend on your country. Ginta is our product.

What each one gives you
Wix. The free plan publishes with Wix branding. On Wix's plans page, "Scheduling and services" and "Accept payments" appear from the Core plan up, alongside "Basic eCommerce". You can add the Bookings app on a free site to set it up, but taking bookings needs the upgrade. More in is Wix Bookings free?.
GoDaddy Airo. You can build and preview free; its plan cards list publishing from Starter, and payments and appointments on Professional.
B12. The free plan launches "a basic website" on a b12sites.com subdomain with 5 AI credits a day. For booking, B12's pricing page lists a Calendly integration rather than its own booking; online payments and invoicing are on Website + Client Engagement at $78 a month (both paid plans are $1 for the first 7 days).
Durable. "Build and share a preview for free." Launch adds publishing, "Get booked online, 24/7" and a domain (up to $20 value). Its FAQ says it "is not designed specifically to support e-commerce businesses".
Zarla. The free plan has 75 AI credits to build, but you upgrade to go live, and bookings and the store are preview only. On Premium, online bookings are built in and the store takes payments with a 2% Zarla fee (1% on Business).
Ginta. Every ready-made part is on the free plan: booking with confirmation emails and calendar files, a shop (25 products per website on Free), events and classes with paid places, a menu, quote requests and reviews. Card payments and deposits go straight to your own Stripe account; Ginta takes no fee and Stripe charges its usual card fees. The free plan's limits are per website: 25 products, 30 bookings a month and 5 upcoming events. Paid plans add your own domain and remove the badge.
What "free" can't include anywhere
- Your own domain. No builder above connects a custom domain on its free plan. Expect to pay for a plan and the domain itself (on Ginta you can buy one inside the app for €29 a year, or bring one you own).
- Card fees. Whoever processes the card (Stripe, Wix Payments, Square) takes a fee per payment.
- Use without limits. Free plans cap something: bookings a month, products, AI credits, or branding.
How to choose
- You need booking or payments right away and want to start free: Ginta.
- You want to design every pixel yourself and will pay for Core: Wix.
- You want a CRM and invoices next to the website: Durable (from Launch) or B12's client engagement plan.
- You only need a page and a phone number: any free plan above that publishes will do.

Questions
Is there a free website builder with online booking?
Yes. On Ginta's free plan a website takes up to 30 bookings a month, with confirmation emails, calendar files and optional deposits through your own Stripe. Wix's free plan can't take bookings; scheduling starts at Core.
Can a free website take card payments?
On Ginta, yes: a shop, paid bookings and paid event places, paid into your own Stripe account. On Wix, "Accept payments" starts at Core; on GoDaddy, at Professional.
Why do builders put booking on paid plans?
Booking and payments are where a business earns money, so most builders use them as the reason to upgrade. Ginta asks you to pay for your own domain and more websites instead.
What does Ginta's free plan not include?
Your own domain and removing the "Made with Ginta" badge. Free websites live at name.ginta.page.
