Bundles, volume discounts and “buy 2, get 1 free” in your own shop
Ginta's shop has four ways to make buying more worth it, on every plan: volume prices on a product ("Buy 2, save 10%"), sets sold at their own price, "buy X, get Y" deals, and automatic discounts that need no code. Ginta works out every price on its server and again on Stripe's checkout, so what the cart says is what the buyer pays.
Volume prices
Give a product price steps: 2 or more at 10 % off, 3 or more at 15 % off. The product page says it in one line under the price, in the buyer's language, and the cart applies it by itself. Good for things people buy several of: spoons, candles, bags of coffee, greeting cards.
Sets (bundles)
A set is a product of its own made of other products: "Kitchen set: cooking spoon, spatula and an eating spoon, €68" (€78 bought one by one). Its page lists what's in it. Each part keeps its own stock: when a set is paid for, the stock of each part goes down, and the set can only be bought while every part has enough stock left. So you never sell a set you can't pack.
Buy X, get Y
"Buy 2, get 1 free" or "buy 3, get the fourth half price": a discount of the buy X get Y kind. In each group of items the cheapest ones get the discount. You can limit it to some categories, tags or products ("only the candles"), and give it a code or make it automatic.
Automatic discounts and codes
Any discount can be a code buyers type ("WELCOME10") or automatic, applied by itself to every cart it fits, with the name buyers see ("Winter sale"). A discount can be a percentage, an amount, free delivery or buy X get Y, with a minimum order, a last day, a maximum number of uses, first orders only, and a limit to categories, tags or products.
One discount per order: if a buyer types a code that works, it wins over the automatic one. Add-ons and gift cards never get discounts.
Honest pages
When Ginta's AI (or your own through Ginta's MCP server) writes your pages, Ginta checks them for promises the shop can't keep: a "3 for 2" the shop has no deal for, "use code SUMMER" for a code that doesn't exist, or made-up "selling fast" lines, and asks for them to be fixed.
Questions
Can I give a discount only on one category?
Yes. Any discount can be limited to categories, tags or products; the rest of the cart pays full price.
Do volume prices work with options like sizes?
Yes. The steps count all units of the product together, whatever size or colour each one is.
Can buyers combine two codes?
No: one discount per order. A typed code that works wins over an automatic discount.
