Ginta Commerce
Shipping by weight, by order total or by zone, in a small online shop

In Ginta's shop each delivery option has a name, the countries it covers and a price, and the price can be flat, go up in steps by the parcel's weight, or go up (or down) in steps by the order's total. Any option can be free from an amount. Buyers choose one in the cart; Stripe then asks for the address and only accepts one in that option's countries. Pickup with times sits next to them. Every plan.
Three ways to price an option
- Flat: "Lithuania €3.50", "EU €7.90". Simple and fine for shops whose parcels are all about the same size.
- By weight: give each product a weight ("0.4 kg") and the option steps ("up to 1 kg €5, up to 5 kg €9"). The cart adds up the weight of everything in it. Good for heavy or very different things: boards and spoons, plates and mugs, hoodies and caps. If a cart is heavier than your last step, that option isn't offered (add a last step without a limit if you take any weight).
- By order total: "up to €30 costs €5, up to €80 costs €3". Useful when the parcel size follows the order's value.
On top of any of these, free from an amount ("free from €60"). The cart shows a bar: "€31 away from free delivery". The free-from amount is measured after discounts, so a code can't push an order over it unfairly.
Countries and zones
An option covers country codes, "EU", "Europe" or "everywhere". Make one option per price zone: your country, the EU, the UK, the rest of the world. Options may overlap and buyers choose. Stripe's checkout asks for the address in the chosen option's countries and checks it, so no one pays EU shipping for a parcel to the US.
A local delivery area inside one country (a town, some postcodes) can't be enforced by Ginta: name the option clearly ("Bike delivery in Utrecht") and say the area on your page.
Pickup
A pickup option asks no address, can be free, and can have times buyers choose: pickup with time slots.
What Ginta doesn't do
No live carrier rates (DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, USPS) and no shipping labels: you buy postage with your carrier as usual, then mark the order as shipped in Ginta with the tracking number or link, and the buyer gets an "on its way" email with a Track button.
Questions
Can I charge different shipping for one heavy product?
Yes, with weight-based options: give that product its real weight and the steps do the rest.
Can delivery be free over a certain amount only in my country?
Yes. Free-from is set per option, so "Lithuania, free from €40" and "EU €7.90, no free delivery" can sit side by side.
Do buyers see delivery prices before the cart?
Each product page lists your delivery options with their prices under the buy button, and the cart shows the exact price for that cart.
Can I ship worldwide?
Yes: an option for "everywhere" (or "the rest of the world" after your other options) with its own price.
